Taiko Team taking a break

Remember Final, the Dutch maker of electrostatic speakers? They’ve been out of the picture for a few years but now they are back and not only with speakers. They now also offer in-ears!
Stromtank power generator (power plant)
“The Stromtank is made possible by using the new and innovative battery technology: lithium iron phosphate (LFP). STROMTANK uses a special type of LFP battery that shines with maximum power delivery, maximum lifetime, voltage stability, and intrinsic safety.”
“The Stromtank provides your system with stable energy, completely disconnected from the electrical grid. This complete network separation works for hours, and it may be perfect for you during this time no matter how many power plants are on and off be turned off and how many hair dryers and PowerLAN adapters in the Neighborhood mischief.”

Kharma Enigma Veyron 2D speakers with Wadax digital front end, Robert Koda amplification, and Fono Acustica cables.
Wilson Sascha DAW with D’Agostino integrated amp, analog source, and all-Nordost cabling. According to our reporter, this system sounded very detailed if not very richly colorful.
Audio Physic speakers with Primare electronics, and, according to our reporter in the field, a nice soundstage.
Goebel loudspeakers – sounding very good but perhaps missing some texture, and better off-axis than on-axis, according to our reporter.
Stenheim with DartZeel. Our reporter was not impressed but having heard these speakers on several other occasions, I know that they can perform really well.
TotalDAC D100 speakers with TotalDAC D1 front end. According to our reporter, the sound in this room had great tonal purity, but the stage was imprisoned in the enclosures.
As I know all too well, the sound at demos can really vary from day to day, as a result of equipment and cables running warm or running in and perhaps small or large tweaks to the system or its setup. Either way, our reporter commented that the sound in this room was much better today, jaw-droppingly good, in fact!

Thank you for the photos and the report.
Just a small correction.
That’s actually the brand new Mola Mola Lupe phono stage and not the Tambaqui DAC on that last photo.
Thanks for the info, David, I’ve now corrected this:-)
Thx 4 all your efforts, just one small correction, the speakers with the Esoteric electronics are Zingali not Master Series Works. I spent ten years selling them, so I felt compelled 😉
Woops, of course! Thanks, now corrected:-)
