Sony MDS JA-30ES DAT Recorder – Quick Impression
MD to the max – almost
Almost as good as the JA50ES but with savings by using more plastic elements, a less sturdy housing and slightly simpler electronics inside. Soundwise almost indistinguishable from its bigger brother. Sadly as with the JA50ES, again transport reliability is an issue. (display showing “No Disc” after loading a disc, which NEVER happened with any of the cheaper models)
